Singer | Songwriter | Vocal Coach
Alisa Velasquez is a faith driven singer on a mission to use her gifts to motivate, spread joy and uplift others. She dedicates her time volunteering for non-profit organizations, being involved with charities, coaching aspiring singers and sharing music with empowering themes about love, faith, self worth and authenticity.
Her community work includes hosting the non profit-television show Equilibrium TV! - Where Bands Go To Play and is a committee member of the Hartbeat Music Festival, both of which give a platform to local original bands. She works alongside the non-profit organization Project IMO - Idea Forge Studios in Willimantic CT, which gives anyone access to the tools needed to participate in the arts and business start up. She is a recurring host and performer at JL Plans Event’s annual charity fashion show “This Is Me”, which brings support to people struggling with mental health issues and disabilities through partnership with the Boston Children’s Hospital.
Alisa sings in multiple award winning bands including The Professors of Sweet Sweet Music, Austin James + The Nomads and Certain Treble Entertainment. She frequently collaborates with sync music libraries and independent musicians around the world providing singing and songwriting services. In addition to live shows and collaborations, she also offers music workshops and private vocal coaching lessons to children and adults who are looking to nurture their own gifts.
Alisa released her first two songs “Hold Me Close” and “In Bloom” in 2021 followed by the power anthem "Stronger” in 2022 which appeared in Netflix’s Selling The OC. Her most recent single “Best Of You” was released in 2024. Her first official studio album “Meant For More” is set to be released in 2026 and will share a glimpse into her journey of finding God.
